On April 1, 1991, KLM merged its subsidiaries NLM and NetherLines, creating KLM Cityhopper.
In November 2002, the other KLM subsidiaries (like KLM uk) merged into the regional carrier as well.
In 2007, KLM Cityhopper owned more than 50 Fokker aircraft and served around 40 destinations around Europe.
