Aliadriatica was the predecessor of Air One, an Italian scheduled and charter airline. It had, however, begun as a flying school before entering airline business. Air One today mainly operates domestic flights but also has some international destinations. It is a partner of Lufthansa.

Aliadriatica, a light aircraft training school, was established in 1983. It was based in the city of Pescara, on the Adriatic coast of Italy.
In 1988, Aliadriatica became part of the Toto Group, a major Italian civil engineering firm and general contractor.
With the acquisition of a first Boeing 737 in June 1994, Aliadriatica began to operate both scheduled and charter operations over medium range routes. This was the first step towards the foundation of today’s airline.
On April 27, 1995, Aliadriatica started scheduled services between Milano and Brindisi, Reggio Calabria and Lamezia Terme.
On November 23, 1995, the new Air One identity was unveiled and the original Aliadriatica ceased to exist.
